Ultrasonic Cavitation
Low frequency ultrasound waves liquify fat cells and sculpt the body without the need for invasive surgery.
Ultrasonic Cavitation is a risk free alternative to liposuction that avoids any scarring, discomfort or downtime. This non-surgical procedure heats and vibrates the layer of fat below the skin, creating microbubbles that surround the fat cells, which gradually grow and implode. The membranes of these fat cells cannot withstand the vibrations and are broken down without affecting any vascular, nervous or muscular tissues. These liquified fat cells are then naturally eliminated or redistributed, resulting in an overall fat reduction in the targeted area.

Ultrasonic Cavitation FAQ
As there is no surgery or anaesthesia, no hospital stay, no time off from work and no downtime. Right after your appointment, the treatment area may be slightly puffy or swollen and you may feel mild pain or bruising, which does not last long. Some experience thirst or mild nausea immediately after the treatment, which is generally resolved by drinking water.
We usually recommend a course of 6 treatments. In many cases, this will be sufficient, however varying factors such as age, body mass, hormonal balance and extent of body shaping required, a series of 10 – 12 treatments may be necessary to reach desired goals.
Results will continue to improve for several weeks following the last treatment session. You will continue to metabolize fat for up to 12 weeks, although some clients can begin to see significant changes at around 2 – 3 weeks in. Studies have shown that each individual session can result in a 1cm – 3cm waist reduction.
Fat cells are destroyed entirely, and therefore will not return or re-grow, meaning that results can be permanent. This of course is dependent on a well balanced lifestyle, as weight gain can certainly occur in the remaining fat cells.
If further weight gain does occur however, this will likely be more balanced across the entire body and not concentrated in the treated areas, as it may have been before.
It takes your lymphatic system 3 – 5 days to metabolise the liquified fat. as such, we recommend a treatment every 3 – 4 days for the first 3 sessions, and then once per week for the remaining treatments. Follow up treatments may not be required, as the removed fat cells do not return, however you may consider additional sessions every 12+ months if weight gain does occur.
Ultra Cavitation is a safe, nonsurgical procedure with no need for anesthesia. It is non-invasive, with no cutting, no scars and no downtime. Specific parameters of ultrasound energy levels ensure selective damage to fat cells only and does not interfere with or impact any other type of cells or tissues.
Ultrasound Cavitation is a pain-free procedure and requires no anaesthetic or numbing cream. During the procedure you may feel a slight heat sensation, tingling or slight ‘tug’ from the vacuum suction, but otherwise the treatment is painless.
Two Days Before Treatment
- Drink plenty of water so that your body can efficiently flush out fat deposits and toxins. We suggest at least 1.5 litres of water per day.
- Avoid alcohol consumption as this will cause your liver to prioritise metabolising alcohol over fat, which will hinder your results.
- Maintain a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat and low sugar diet 24 – 48 hours before treatment. This will ensure your body can fully utilise the triglycerides released by the fat cavitation process.
- Avoid nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen.
On The Day
- No caffeine, diuretics or sugary drinks.
- Remove metal jewelry before treatment.
- Drink some water just before and shortly after your treatment.
- Do not eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of the treatment.
- Do not apply any cream, oil or moisturisers on the treatment area.
- For your initial treatment, bring a bikini or sportswear for your ‘before’ photo, so we can track your progress.
Hydrate – To make your treatments more effective, drink plenty of water. This will help the liver and lymphatic system remove the fat and help speed up the elimination of toxins. We suggest 1.5 – 2 litres a day for 3 days.
Avoid Alcohol – You will need to avoid alcohol for 3 days after each treatment. The liver will be busy processing the fat that has been broken down. Alcohol consumption will hinder the process as it is prioritised by the liver.
Exercise – We recommend 30 minutes of light cardio immediately after your session, to stimulate the lymphatic and urinary systems as elimination of the fat continues. This can include a brisk walk, cycling or swimming and should be performed daily for at least 3 days following.
Diet – Try to maintain a low calorie intake. Reduce your carbohydrate, fat and sugar intake for at least 3 days. Choose healthier, nutrient-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables and lean meats. For long term results, a balanced diet should be followed ongoing.
Apply SPF50 sunscreen – Your skin will be more susceptible to UV damage. Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure for the following 2 – 3 days after a treatment if you can.
Avoid hot showers, saunas & steam rooms – Increased blood circulation can intensify warming, tingling, itching or redness immediately after. Try to avoid these activities on the day of your treatment.
Avoid abrasive treatments – Avoid all abrasive treatments such as Microdermabrasion or Skin Needling for at least 2 weeks after your treatment. Also avoid irritants such as glycolics, acids or retinoids until the redness or swelling resolves.
Lymphatic Drainage – A lymphatic massage can help improve the circulation and move newly released triglycerides and toxins through the lymphatic system.
